ISLAMABAD: The Federal Revenue Alliance Employees Union (CBA) Islamabad has appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Board of Revenue Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan and Member Administration Waqar Ahmad to take notice of “promotion” issue of deputy superintendents in next grades.
In their letter addressed to the prime minister, they appealed that the deputy superintendents should be promoted in the next grade. They said that they had filed a petition in the Federal Service Tribunal Islamabad. In their letter they said that despite court’s directions, the management is still avoiding to grant promotions to deputy superintendents. They said that in the past, higher authorities sought annual reports of deputy superintendents for promotion purpose, but official orders in this regard was still awaited.
They said that some superintendents, and deputy superintendents are working in same cadre from last thirty to thirty five years and most of them only given one promotion. Now they are heading towards retirement age without getting promotion in next grade.
