ISLAMABAD: The Federal government has released over Rs. 176 billion under its Public Sector Development Programme for various ongoing and new schemes.
According to a latest data released by Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform, the released funds include approximately 42 billion rupees for federal ministries and more than 19 billion for special areas, Radio Pakistan reported.
The government also released 8.28 billion rupees for Water and Power Division whereas an amount of Rs. 6.5 billion for various development projects of Higher Education Commission.
A sum of Rs1.7 billion has been released for National Health Services while Rs. 114.6 million for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
