KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to issue notices to 3,000 tax defaulters soon. Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue Regional Tax Office II Amanat Ali Khan told Customs Today that the department has been preparing lists for the last couple of days. “We will target all those persons who are not paying taxes willfully,” he said.
He further said that the department has successfully collected all the data of these tax defaulters and now final notices will be sent to them for clearing the outstanding dues next week. If they will not pay taxes according to the schedule, a stern action will be taken against them. “We will access their bank accounts and will deduct the tax,” he said.
