MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has planned to revisit the training need analysis of the Customs Department.
According to details, keeping in view the importance of capacity building and training requirements of the officers and the staff of the customs department, the Federal Board of Revenue earlier determined training needs assessment of the employees during the year 2004-2005.
However, since lot of changes have taken place in the law and procedure and infrastructure hierarchy. The Federal Board of Revenue has planned to revisit earlier determined training need assessment.
In this regard a committee, headed by Chief Collector Rozi Khan Burki to revisit training need assessment for the officers from grade 17 to 20. This committee also includes Collector MCC Multan Sarfraz Ahmad Warraich and Assistant Collector Faizan Badar along with other members of the Customs officers for training need assessment.
The committee held its first meeting on 1st August at Customs House Lahore for the capacity building of Customs officers through training need assessment program.
