ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan presided over a farewell party in honour of Prime Minister Inspection Commission Chairman Ameer Khan Marwat on November 23, 2016 at Islamabad Club.
In his address, Nisar said that all his friends were going to retire one by one and Marwat was one of them. He also appreciated Chief Collector Sarwar Tahira Habib and Collector Dr. Arslan Subuctageen for arranging the party in the honour of Marwat.
The chairman said that Marwat during service proved his intelligence and hardworking in front of the high ups, adding that he initiated national database services, as he was an active member of customs facilities.
Customs Member Nasir Masroor said in his address that he has been a long association with Marwat, adding that he found him a professional official and people like Marwat Khan were sources of strength for the department.
Customs North Region Chief Collector Sarwat Tahira Habib also hailed the services of outgoing official. She said that it remained memorise how you behaved with the people after getting authorities, adding that Marwat remained kind to his subordinates and other officials during his tenure.
At the end, Ameer Khan Marwat gave a thanks giving speech in which he shared his past experiences of life. In his message to young officers, he said, “Customs is an elite service of this country, so keep your reputation clean and do not compromise on it,”.
Islamabad Customs Collector Dr. Arslan conducted the farewell party where many retired and incumbent officers of customs department participated were present.
