LAHORE: After recent transfers and postings Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued new SOPs for the customs staff including officers.
According to the details, the Federal Board of Revenue strictly ordered all the staff and officials to wears uniforms in proper form including badges otherwise they will face legal action for such misconduct. FBR issued office order noticing that some official and staff are not following office uniform and are using casual dresses in the office.
The department strictly ordered the staff and officers to wear uniform otherwise legal action will be taken against them.
According to new office orders no customs official will be allowed to stand near doors of arrival and departure lounges. All officers and staff are bound to reach 10 minutes before their office time and will not be allowed to leave their position until their replace not come.
Customs teams are strictly bound to check every plan thoroughly before departure of any flight to control smuggling of narcotics. The Federal Board of Revenue has issued new orders and directed the Collector Customs Preventive to make sure the implementations of the orders. It is to mention here that inspectors and guards are bound to wear uniform.
