ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has decided that, under the umbrella of FBR Foundation, the FBR will construct a hospital, schools and residential facilitates for the officers and other staff of the institution.
This decision has been made in a first meeting of the Federal Board of Revenue Foundation held under the chairmanship of Federal Board of Revenue Dr Muhammad Irshad and attended by Member Human Resource Management Rozi Khan Burki, Administration Muhammad Majid Qureshi, Member Legal Hafiz Muhammad Indhar, Member Strategic Planning Nasir Masroor, Member IT and Member Incharge Fate Ms. Nausheen Javaid Amjad and other officials of FBR. It is important to mention here that the FBR Foundation was established and registered in 2012 by the efforts of that time member legal Aqil Usman but till today there was no single meeting held in the FBR.
According to sources, present chairman FBR Dr. Muhammad Irshad has decided to activate the silent foundation in favor of FBR employees. While addressing the meeting, he said it was a cherished dream of every employee of the FBR for having such a platform which can comfort their lives. Now this dream is going to be translated into reality. The task ahead to make this foundation a success story can be fulfilled through cooperation of every serving and retired employee of the FBR. Chairman FBR has instructed the Member Administration to prepare the initial estimates regarding the construction of Hospital, School and Residential Colony for the employees of the FBR.
