LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in order to facilitate the field officers as well as taxpayers to minimize the time required for CPRs correction (ST & IT), authority to make such corrections have been disseminated at field office level.
For the purpose, a module to make correction in CPRs has been developed and deployed at each field office level. Scope of such changes is limited to correction of following to specific area:
- Change in NTN/ name of taxpayer
- Change in tax period.
Logins of said utility have been created and password to operate shall be email to concern Chief Commissioner to ensure security. Local DBAs have also been informed about the said change and in case of any issue they can be contacted.
It is further stated that the cases pending at Board’s / Computer Wing’s level may be processed as the central logins being used for correction of CPRs (ST & IT) would be disabled on 14.06.2018.
