SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued orders to six customs collectorates to arrange fresh training workshop for exporters, importers and customs clearing agents to educate them about technologies and customs laws.
Sources told Customs Today that these six customs collectorates, including Sialkot, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Karachi and Peshawar, will arrange training workshop for exporters, importers and customs clearing agents.
Sources said that the FBR has directed all concerned collectorates that these awareness workshops should be conducted by using new technology, and collector of customs will deliver welcome address.
Sources told that the all lectures will be delivered to participants on new technology and customs laws which were using during customs clearing, rebate refunds and other customs matters related to exporters, importers and customs clearing agents. During these lectures additional collectors, deputy collectors and assistant collectors will highlight the process of WeBoc and Form I System. On the other hand FBR will bear all expenditures for arrangement of workshop and the period of workshop will 15 days.
Sources told the arrangement of training workshop is very appropriate for exporters, importers and customs clearing agents to get awareness on new technology and new customs laws as well as SRO’s. Sources told the Customs department will display notice at Customs Houses and dry ports to inform all exporters, importers and customs clearing agents about training workshops.
