MULTAN: The Federal Service Tribunal of Pakistan has issued direction to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the promotion of five deputy commissioners to income tax officers.
According to the details, the tribunal has directed FBR to promote these five employees from the date of 1994. The FBR will send the report within three months regarding the implementation of the decision.
It may mention here that officers have filed appeal for getting their pending promotions for last 20 years.
The five deputy commissioners include Muhammad Sultan, Muhammad Akram Khan, Zafar Iqbal Farooqi, Sheikh Muhammad Saleem and Abdul Hakeem Khan moved the tribunal seeking promotions. Deputy Commissioners Sheikh Muhammad Saleem and Abdul Hakeem Khan have completed their service tenure.
