LAHORE: Collector of Customs Appeals Dr Asif Mehmood Jah has expressed thanks and gratitude to Chairman Federal Board Revenue Dr Muhammad Irshad for inaugurating public library at the Aurangzeb Block, Allam Iqbal Town.
Dr Asif Jah, who has been serving the needy and deserving people under the Customs Healthcare Society for years, told Customs Today that FBR Chairman Dr Irshad visited his hospital set up under Customs Healthcare Society and met the under-treatment patients during his visit to Lahore.
He said that Dr Muhammad Irshad, while appreciating the efforts and work of the society for the ailing humanity, said that the Customs Healthcare Society was doing excellent job and was earning good name for the department.
He said that he was very much thankful to the chairman FBR for visiting the hospital and appreciating the welfare work being done by the society.
He said that the kind words of the FBR chairman, ‘keep the good work for the betterment of the humanity on” were, indeed, acknowledgement appreciation for the society.
He said that the very words have motivated the associates of the society to do more good for the restoration of deserving people in every section of the society. Dr. Jah said that he is quite optimistic that new public library will play vital role in promoting literary habits among our young generation. He said that people from all walks of life are appreciating opening of public library.
