ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan reached Singapore to participate in a two-day Customs Cooperation Committee meeting. The meeting was held under the aegis of the Central Asian Regional Cooperation.
Sources told Customs Today that the chairman will preside over the fifth session of the committee. He will be accompanied by Director General Transit Trade Javed Ghani, Chief International Customs (FBR) Dr Zuabir Yousafani and Deputy Director Reforms and Automation Amir Nawaz.
Sources said that during the meeting, participants will discuss measures to expand regional trade among member countries. From Pakistan side, Deputy Director Reforms and Automation Amir Nawaz will give a presentation to the participants of the committee. The chairman and his entourage will return home on September 25 after attending the committee meeting.
