LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairmen Tariq Bajwa has lauded the performance of Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) Chief Commissioner Chaudhry Safder Hussain for exceeding the October target by Rs 2.9 billion.
The LTU had set a target of Rs 13.5 billion for October while it has collected Rs 16.4, exceeding Rs 2.9 billion.
The FBR has issued a letter of appreciation for the chief commissioner in which the FBR has mentioned that the revenue target for the LTU Lahore was Rs 13.5 billion for October 2015 against which an amount of Rs 16.4 billion has been collected exceeding the target by Rs. 2.9 billion.
The board appreciated the efforts of the officers and staff for meeting the budgetary targets. The FBR also acknowledged the performance of the LTU due to proper planning.
The board expected the same performance for the remaining period of the year and especially for the coming two months ending second quarter of year 2015-16.
