Faisalabad: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker from Gojra city during an action.
According to details, Deputy Director FIA Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub Inspector Muhammad Ajmal conducted a raid at Awami Hotel near railway station Gojra along with FIA team and arrested a human trafficker who was identified as Shehroz Saleem son of Muhammad Saleem resident of Mehnsi Mohallah Gojra city, district Toba Tek Singh.
The accused was running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them after showing golden dreams of their lucid future abroad.
Sources told Custom Today that Shehroz Ahmed was involved in several cases of fraud, money extortion and sending people abroad by using illegal and inhuman means. The FIA team recovered five Pakistani passports and Rs50, 000 from the accused.
The FIA officials after registering a case of human trafficking sent the accused behind the bars under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979.
