FAISALABAD: The Motor Registration Authority (MRA) has constituted three special teams to recover token from tax defaulters.
Sources told Customs Today that Team-1 established a check-post near Allied Morr under the supervision of Assistant Officer Maher Sajjad Hussain to take strict action against token tax defaulters. Whereas, Team- 2 held checkpoint near Millat Chowk under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Altaf Ahmad Cheema whereas Rao Iftikhar Hussain (ETO). Team-3 established a checkpoint near Saddar police station Jaranwala Road.
It is pertinent to mention here that MRA director Ahmad Saeed has directed the field staff to keep eyes on token tax defaulters and guide them about new token tax system and stickers for their vehicles.
