FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate will hold an auction of impounded vehicles and other smuggling goods on April 27.
About 86 different lots of seized goods including 13 vehicles and other confiscated items will be presented for auction.
All these vehicles and goods were impounded by the Customs Anti-Smuggling Organizations and Field Investigation Units Sargodha, Mianwali, Jhang, and ASO Sara-e- Muhajir.
The customs collectorate will present 13 non-duty-paid vehicles for public auction including Toyota Corolla, Toyota Premio, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Land Cruiser, Honda Aria car, Toyota Fielder, Mitsubishi Mini Pajero jeep, Toyota Hilux, double cabin dala, and Toyota Passo.
Besides, about 73 lots, including used tyres of different brands, 95 units of laser jet cartridge (Japan), nine units of electric cables with connector, dry batteries, 135 units of plastic toys, 350 kilogram of mini capacitor, fans, 1,200 kg of cotton yarn, 1687 kilograms of silk cloths, battery operated toys, Indian origin black tea, Samsung brand LED TVs in different model and series, foreign origin motorcycle tyres and tubes and other confiscated items, will be auctioned off.
Deputy Collector Rana Falik Shair will supervise the auction process while Superintendent Muhammad Javed, UDC Khadim Hussain will conduct the auction process. The customs collectorate is presenting all those vehicles and various goods after conclusion of seizure cases.
The customs Faisalabad authorities are trying to generate more revenue before the end of the ongoing Fiscal Year 2017-18.
