FAISALABAD: Customs Collectorate of Appraisement surpassed the revenue target for first ten months (July-April ) 2016, as it collected Rs 6075.89 against the set target of Rs 6042.21 million.
As per details, the Custom Appraisement was assigned Rs 3618.34 million revenue collection target in wake of sales tax but appraisement surpassed the target by 135 percent, as it collected Rs 4869.37 million during the said period. Under the head of customs duty, appraisement collected Rs 957.92 million against the set target of Rs 2011.81 million by achieving target up to 48 percent.
Customs Appraisement generated Rs 220.68 million as income tax against the assigned target of Rs 353.08 million that was achieved up to 63 percent, while it collected Rs 27.92 million in wake of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs 58.98 million.
