SOFIA: “There is 12% increase in the revenues from excise duty in 2015,” National Customs Agency Director Vanyo Tanov said speaking at a closing press conference for 2015, FOCUS News Agency reporter said.
In his words, the revenues collected by the National Customs Agency have reached record-high levels for the past seven years.
“The excise duty revenues reach the record-breaking BGN 4.523 billion, which is half a billion more compared with the previous year and it is the highest excise duty collectability rate ever,” Mr Tanov remarked.
“What the National Customs Agency showed this year in terms of results proves its possibilities. We are about to enter an ever harder year,” he added.
“There is still work to be done in terms of the revenues from fuels,” Vanyo Tanov said further.
