London,:European stock markets crept higher at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index up almost 0.1 percent to 7,863.03 points. In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 was only marginally higher at 5,637.94 points, from the close on Monday. Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index climbed 0.4 percent to 13,132.56 points compared with the closing level last Friday, and following a holiday closure on Monday.
