LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau Lahore has received an application against the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Punjab.
According to sources of Customs Today, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Zafar Moeen has been accused of embezzlement against which a petition has been filed in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) by one Amir Sajjad for being implicated in the case.
The stance has been taken as to Registrar and Treasurer also approved many illegal actions supporting the embezzlement of money. The NAB called for a detailed report so as to decide the case.
It is pertinent to mention here that the NAB has also summoned former VC of Punjab University on 19th of May with record. He has also been accused of embezzlement in the assets of the university.
