BUDAPEST: German-owned car interior maker Eissmann Automotive Hungaria is planning expansion worth at least EUR 6 million at its base in Nyiregyhaza.
Eissmann Automotive will build a production hall on a plot of land it acquired last year similar in size to its present 16,000 sqm plant at Nyiregyhaza (northeast Hungary), managing director Attila Boszormenyi said today, as quoted by national news agency MTI.
The development, which could start in 2018 or 2019, will expand the base by one-third, he added. The investment will raise headcount there by 200 to around 1,100. Eissmann Automotive built its existing plant for HUF 1.5 billion in 2011. The unit had net revenue of HUF 21.5 billion last year, public records show.
