ISLAMABAD: Syed Babar Ali Shah, Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-18, has been allowed to pursue master’s degree in Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo.
The officer, presently posted as Deputy Collector at Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi, has been granted to avail the above-said opportunity at Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan under WCO-Japan HRD Programme, with effect from March 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
According to the notification, his study period abroad will be treated as deputation/duty. The Federal Board of Revenue has no objection to the proceeding abroad of the officer during his deputation period, it added.
