Dutch economic growth reaches 2.9% in Q2, consumer spending up 2%

The Dutch economy grew 0.7% in the second quarter of 2018 compared with the first quarter, taking year on year growth to 2.9%, the national statistics office CBS said on Tuesday. Consumer speaking, investments and exports all helped drive the economy upwards, the CBS said. Consumers spend 2% more in the second quarter, continuing four years of solid growth.
