Customs Tribunal postpones all 13 cases until next hearing

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s Division Bench-II (single and double), comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 13 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s single bench, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, heard four cases including Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Unique Enterprises, Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Almu Impex Saif Ullah versus Customs Multan and Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Yahya Sports on Wednesday.

The tribunal division bench-II, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial, and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard nine cases of Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Imran Hardware, Basharat Ali versus Customs Lahore, Customs Lahore versus Basharat Ali, Customs Multan versus H&D Enterprises and Customs Lahore versus Creative electronics.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Ahmed International, Raja Qaiser versus Customs Sambrial, Muhammad Asgher versus Customs Lahore and Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Toy Centre.

In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favor of their respective parties. After hearing the arguments from parties, the Customs Appellate Tribunal reserved the verdicts in one case and adjourned all the other ones until the next hearing.
