LAHORE: The Pakistan Customs has shifted all the manual data of imports and exports on new web-based software for custom clearance (WeBOC) at the Land Freight Unit (LFU) Wagah.
Sources informed Customs Today that Pakistan and India have huge potential in trade and Wagah is the main and busiest route for imports and exports. Sources said that all imports and exports via Land Fright Unit Wagah are being transferred on WeBOC to facilitate the traders. There are more than 250 trucks crossing the international border every day and WeBOC has simplified the clearance process for importers and exporters.
Earlier, the Pakistan Customs had organized many training sessions for importers and exporters in different cities in order to educate them about use of WeBOC.
