RIYADH: The General Customs Department, through its portal, has launched a survey in which it wishes to identify the views and expectations of its customs partners concerned about the draft policy of the economic operator program approved in accordance with the WCO standards framework for trade security and facilitation and in accordance with the Saudi Customs Strategic Plan and adopting best practices and international standards .
The Economic Operator Program, which is based on the Customs Department’s provision of trade facilitation benefits, includes traders who have a secure supply chain and meet the required standards. This survey comes from Saudi Customs as an extension of its ongoing cooperation with its customers and partners in customs work to be part of the transformation it seeks. In addition, it seeks to realize the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 in making the Kingdom a global logistics platform.
