KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (PMQA) collected additional revenue during the month of August 2019.
According to the details, Customs Collectorate Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (PMQA) has achieved its total revenue target for the month of August, 2019, the total collection for the month August of 2019 stood at Rs55.914 billion of rupees against the monthly target of Rs54.287 billion of rupees which is three percent higher than the assigned target and seventeen percent higher than Rs46.65 billion of rupees collection in August, 2018.
Collector Customs Mumtaz Ali Khoso has attributed this impressive revenue performance of the Customs Collectorate Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (PMQA) Collectorate, despite a steep in imports, to enhance trade facilitation measures taken at the time of clearance of import goods and efficient managerial controls.
Collector Mumtaz Ali Khoso lauded the leadership especially Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi, Member Customs Operation Dr Jawwad Uwais Agha as well as Chief Collector Appraisement South Suraiya Ahmed Butt, Karachi.
He also lauded the efforts of his team of officers and Staff of the Customs Collectorate (MCC) Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (PMQA) in achieving the target and expressed the resolve to achieve the remaining revenue target of the current Financial Year.
