PESHAWAR: Customs Health Care Society (CHCS), Pakistan granted financial support to seven families of persons, who had been abducted more than two months back from Adilkhad area of tehsil Landi Kotal.
In this connection a simple gathering was held in Landi Kotal press club on Wednesday that was attended by heirs of abductees beside local media persons.
Muhammad Jameel, the representative of CHCS while speaking on the occasion said that CHCS not only in national level but internationally extended services to needy in natural or man-made calamities. He added that earlier the organization had served the tribesmen in Miran Shah and Mirali and would continue its services in future.
At the end he on behalf of Dr. Asif Mehmood Jaa (Sitar-e-Imtiaz), the Patron in Chief of Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) gave away Rs.5700 to each of seven families.
Wali Muhammad, head of effected family whose seven persons had been kidnapped thanked Dr. Asif Mehmood Jaa for his generous act. He urged the Pakistan and Afghanistan governments to help them find their beloved ones.
It is important to state that 79 days back 17 tribesmen, residents of Abdulkhad and were from seven families had been kidnapped by unidentified militants on gun point from mountainous area of Enzar Naw, tehsil Landi Kotal and shifted them to Afghanistan.
