LAHORE: As many as 113 Customs sepoys will take part in Passing out Prade to be held today at the Civil Defense Training School.
According to the details, the training was orgnanised by Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs) under the supervision of Director Saima Shahzad. Deputy Director Kanwal Ali also looked after the training program of the newly appointed Customs sepoys.
It was a significant event in the history of Pakistan Customs, when as many as 113 newly recruited sepoys from multiple directorates and collectorates of the Customs Central Region joined the two months specialized training program in Lahore.
The training was arranged by Directorate General of Training and Research, Lahore in collaboration with the Civil Defence Training School.
It is exclusively designed for the customs sepoys by DGTR (Customs) Karachi and is duly approved by the Board. The sepoys will be taught customs law, rules, procedures etc. in addition to other relevant modules.
A ceremony of the training took place at Civil Defence Training School, Lahore on December 14, 2016. Chief Collector Samaira Nazir, was the chief guest, while Collector Appeals Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah, Collector Appraisement Mohammad Sadiq, Collector Preventive Zulfiqar Younas, Commandant Civil Defence Training School Liaquat Ali Malik and Bomb Disposal Unit Additional Unit Commandant Capt. (r) Rai Nazir Ahmad Kharal were special guests on the occasion. DGTR Deputy Director Kanwal Ali opened the ceremony, which was followed by an address from DGTR Director Saima Shahzad.
