LAHORE: Special judge of Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling Court Aqal Hussain Chauhan has been transferred from Lahore to Attock as sessions judge of the district.
According to a notification issued here by the Lahore High Court, Aqal Hussain Chauhan has been posted as session judge of district Attock. Mr Chauhan had been working as special judge of the Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Lahore since December 2016. The notification of the transfer was issued by the Lahore High Court on Wednesday. The Lahore High Court has transferred nine judges from different districts.
Registrar of the Lahore High Court Rasheed Ahmad Rizvi has issued the notifications of their transfers and new postings. Aqal Hussain Chauhan was appointed as district and sessions judge Attock while Suhail Nasir who was serving as district and sessions judge Attock was posted as district and sessions Judge of Rawalpindi.
Bushra Zaman has been appointed as sessions judge of district Narowal. Presiding officer of Punjab Labor Court 2 Bashir A Joya has been transferred to Lodhran while judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court 2 Lahore Muhammad Azam has been transferred to Chiniot.
