LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-smuggling has adjourned the case of a suspect, Muhammad Sarwar, who was arrested at Sialkot International Airport.
Sources told Customs Today that the accused, arrived from South Africa, was checked by the Customs officials at Sialkot airport. During the checking of the luggage the team found 30 costly mobile phones from his bag.
Earlier the Customs team arrested the accused and presented him before Customs Court for physical remand but customs judge denied the request of customs investigation team for physical remand and send him to jail for judicial trial. Muhammad Sarwar also filed a petition for his post arrest bail that was also rejected by the court.
