ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) collected revenue of Rs3011.722 million during six months (July to December) of current financial year (FY) 2016-17.
Assistant Collector Amanat Ali Khan told Customs Today that during the first half of financial year 2016-17 customs revenue collection was remarkable under head of all duty and taxes.
He said the dry port collected revenue of Rs1437.071 million during 2nd quarter (October to December) of FY16-17 while the dry port collected revenue of Rs1574.651 million during 1st quarter (July to September) of FY16-17.
He added that dry port collected revenue of Rs462.094 million under head of all duty taxes during the month of December adding that the dry port collected revenue of Rs559.592 million during the month of November, Rs415.385 million during October, Rs.416.381 million during September, Rs809.402 million during August and Rs.348.868 million during July of FY16-17 under head of all duty taxes under head of all duty and taxes.
Assistant Collector Amanat Khan said that Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib instructed the dry port to establish more cordial relations with business community to create friendly working environment.
