LAHORE: The Central Region of Pakistan Customs comprising Customs Collectorate of Appraisement, Preventive Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad as a whole strove above and beyond the call of duty to not only meet assigned revenue collection targets but surpass them as well.
Chief Collector Customs Central Region Zeba Hai Azhar convened a special meeting of all officers and staff of the Collectorate of Customs at Customs House. During the meeting she lauded the outstanding performance of all the staff and officials and thanked them for brilliant output.
She said that Customs Central Region successfully collected customs duty of Rs82,831 million against the assigned customs duty target of Rs82,409 million during Fiscal Year 2018-19, representing an increase of 1 percent over the target and 24 percent compared to previous year’s collection.
The Chief Collector expressed the hope and confidence that the Collectorate would continue to strive in the same way over the current fiscal year.
