LAHORE: Customs Preventive Anti-Smuggling Organization on Thursday and Friday detained seven luxury vehicles worth Rs 8 million.
Sources told Customs Today that on information the ASO team led by Assistant Collector Dr Adnan Khan consisting Superintendent Munawar Khan, Ejaz Rasool, Shah Nawaz Langriyal, Tippu Sultan and others detained vehicles which includes two Vitz model 2008, two Pajero InterCooler model 1994, one Toyota Corolla 1994, one Land Cruiser 1998 and one Honda Civic 2004.
The vehicles were detained from various localities in Lahore, including Ravi Raod, Shera Kot, Wapda Town and Johar Town. The vehicles were seized because their owners failed to produce legal import documents of the vehicles. The sources said that the customs authorities after registering cases have started further investigations.
