KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Appraisement, West Wharf, is holding an auction of different valuable goods including vehicles worth millions of rupees.
To fetch the revenue through impounded contraband items, the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Appraisement West Wharf, has offered several valuable items for auction at the Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT).
Three vehicles and other goods presented for the auction include Toyota Fortunes, LHD-Model 2013, round bars, iron/steel round bars, imported tiles, injection molding machine, concrete beaching power plant, lighting fixtures, yarn, marbles, ATM machines, multi-equipment and PVC pipe along with other items.
The auction of different valuable goods including vehicles worth millions of rupees will be held at the auction yard of the Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) from 24th to 27th under the rule 2001.
The authority concerned informed Customs Today that the auction of different valuable items seized during various raids are also a source to generate revenue besides other constitutional way declared as per customs rules and regulation through which Pakistan Customs mange to collect billions of rupees of revenue annually.
It is pertinent to mention here that the auction is going to be held on the directives of the Collector Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Appraisement, West Wharf Karachi.
