Customs Appellate Tribunal reserves verdicts of four cases

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 34 cases on Tuesday and adjourned all for different dates without those four cases whose verdicts were reserved.

The division bench-II, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard 17 cases including Roshan Packages versus collector customs Lahore, Jasim Saddique versus collector customs Lahore, Dastgir versus collector customs Lahore, A H Textile versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Shehzad Traders versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Arshed Fareed versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of Rana Shukat Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Rahmatullah Ilyas versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Union Traders versus collector customs Lahroe, Wajid Iqbal versus collector customs Lahore, Rising Sun Construction versus collector customs Lahore, Collector Customs Lahore versus Haji S Amin & Sons, Noor Gas private Limited versus collector customs Lahore, Muslama International versus collector customs Lahore.

The single bench-II, comprising Muhammad Shabbur Gujjar, Member Judicial, heard six cases including Akbri Glass & Aluminimum versus Directorate Post Clearance Audit Lahore, Zain Enterprises versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Alhamra Enterprises versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus M I Traders, Salman Traders versus directorate of intelligence and investigation Lahore and Oversease Business versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

Imran Tariq, member techinical heard seven cases including Shaheen Enterprises versus Customs Lahore, M Ahmed Impex versus customs Lahore, Hamza Hameed versus Customs Lahore, Ghulam Habib versus Customs Multan, ARY Cargo versus Customs Lahore and Imran Yousaf versus Customs Lahore.
