LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (CAT) adjourned all the 25 cases and fixed them by the next date without hearings. The tribunal (single & double) bench postponed all the cases for different dates without hearing of the single case and informed the counsels of adjournment of hearings and dates.
The cases fixed for hearing for Monday and adjourned by the Division Bench-II comprised Omer Arshad Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, adjourned two appeals of H A Construction versus customs Lahore, Scale Tech versus Customs Lahore, A. Z Apparel versus customs Faisalabad, Marina World versus Customs Lahore, Meena Brookly versus customs Lahore, Khalid Mehmood versus Customs Faisalabad and Jamshed Ali versus Customs Lahore.
The hearings fixed before the Single Bench-I comprised Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial, adjourned are Muhamamd Usman versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Muhammad Amin versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Azeem Nisar, Suliman Traders versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Overseas Business Corp versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.
The hearings before Special Division Bench-I, comprising Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, also postponed without hearing including directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujranwala versus Raees Umer, Tahir Rizwan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Tahir Rizwan.
The cases before Division Bench, comprising Justice Retired Malik Manzoor Hussain, Chairman and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, also put off. The cases included Collector Customs Faisalabad versus Chenab Limited, Fahad Jabbar versus Customs Lahore, three appeals of Azhar Brothers versus Customs Faisalabad, Ohad Motors versus Customs Sambrial, Iqbal Hussain versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Collector Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Arshed.
