ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal held the hearing of M/s Lucky Enterprises and M/s Kids and Teens Entertainment cases filed against the Federal Board of Revenue during fourth week of March.
A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising member, Syed Muhammad Anwar, heard the case. The bench had heard the cases in previous weeks too.
M/s Lucky Enterprises had filed the case against Customs Collectorate. It had challenged a customs duty assessment sustained by the adjudication.
Earlier, Customs Appellate Tribunal’s single bench comprising Member, Syed Muhammad Anwar had also heard Haq Nawaz’s tax matters.
The bench had dismissed Nawaz’s reference while adjourned hearing of M/s Lucky Enterprises case for next week. Both of these cases had been filed during 2016.
M/s Kids and Teens Entertainment and other appellants had also filed cases against field offices of Federal Board of Revenue.
They had earlier asked the counsels to submit records of the cases so the bench could reach a decision at the earliest.
