LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 12 cases on Thursday and adjourned all for different dates without those cases whose verdicts were reserved.
The division bench-II, comprising Omer Arshad Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard seven cases including Farhad Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Noor Gas Customs Lahore, Advance Energies versus Customs Lahore.
Furthermore, same bench heard cases of Down Enterprises versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Waqas Abbasi versus Customs Lahore, Hazoor Buksh verus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan and Irfan Eziz versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan.
The single bench-I, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial, heard five cases Barkat Steel Mills versus Collector Customs Multan, Muhammad Usman versus Collector Customs Faisalabad, Muhammad Amin versus Collector Customs Multan, Indus Dying versus Collector Customs Faisalabad and Ahmed Fine Textile versus Collector Customs Multan.
All two benches heard the cases reserved for the same day. In all cases counsels for appellants and respondent appeared before the tribunal members and argued in the favor of their respective parties, after hearings all cases are adjourned into next dates. The tribunal will heard the same cases on next fixed dates.
