ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal reserved decision on M/s Pakistan Telecommunication Co Limited’s customs reference on Thursday.
A division bench of tribunal comprising of Justice (r) Malik Manzoor Hussain and Member Technical Ziauddin Wazir heard the matter along with other cases involving Collectorate of Customs and Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigations, Islamabad. M/s Pakistan Telecommunication Co Limited had filed customs reference against MCC.
A day before the bench had reserved decision on M/s National Highway Authority’s matter which had challenged a decision announced by collector customs before the tribunal. The bench reserved decision after hearing arguments in the case.
Meanwhile, the bench adjourned hearing on Khurram Zafer Nazeer Ahmed, and M/s Musa Ghee International’s cases filed against MCC. Earlier, the bench had reserved decisions of M/S Waseem Autos and M/s Nisar Traders cases.
M/s Waseem Autos and M/s Nisar Traders had filed cases against Model Collectorate of Customs and Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigations, Islamabad.
The bench had dated in office hearing on cases filed b M/s Parts & Parts, M/s Chief Autos, M/s Aman Elahi, M/s Kohinoor Traders, M/s Saleem Silk Centre, M/s Five Star Trading, M/s Pakistan Royal Group and M/s Nayatel Private Limited, M/s Degicell & others, M/s Kohinoor Chemical, Mirza Muhammad Majid, M/s Fazal Razaq, M/s Fazalur Rehman and Gul Rehman & others.
The appellants had filed cases against Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigations, Islamabad and Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.
