LAHORE: Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal Justice (r) Malik Manzoor Hussain Malik has said that all members of Customs Appellate Tribunal passed judicious orders. Tribunal always passed the order with honesty without any pressure.
He was addressing the participants of on the occasion of farewell party hosted in honor of Member Techical Bench-II Imran Tariq on his retirement after completion of three years tenure.
Besides the outgoing chairman, Member Judicial Bench-I Chaudhary Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial Bench-II Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Technical Bench-I Saud Imran Ahmed, Registrar-I Rana Muhammad Azhar Khan, Registrar-II Naseem Ilahi Sindhu, Private Secretary Muhammad Ashraf Senior, Advocate Muhammad Mohsin Virk, Advocate Muhammad Ahsan Virk along with other senior tax bar lawyers and staff of Customs Appellate Tribunal was present on the occasion.
During the ceremony, Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal Justice (r) Malik Manzoor Hussain said that Customs Appellate Tribunal always passed fair decisions, he further stated that most of the decisions were accepted by both petitioners and respondents.
Adding more, chairman said that he and his team always deal politely with the tax lawyers. He said that if we there was any misunderstanding we sorted out the same on the spot. He said that entire team of Customs Appellate Tribunal tried their best to come up to the expectations of petitioners.
Talking about the services of Imran Tariq, Chairman Manzoor said said that he is grateful Imran Tariq that he always showed outstanding performance. He said that retirement of Member Technical created a lack in Customs Appellate Tribunal which will take a marginable time to fill.
Chairman said that during his tenure as Member Technical he showed outstanding performance and work hard with honestly and dedication. His services for the Customs Appellate Tribunal will be long remembered.
At the conclusion of this ceremony all members including Saud Imran, Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar prayed for the bright future of out-going Member Technical and wish him all the best for his future life.
