ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench has rejected bail application of accused Hammad Akbar Khan who was arrested by customs authorities at Banazir Bhutto Shaheed Airport.
According to details, Hammad Akbar Khan was involved in case of customs duty evasion. The authorities lodged an FIR against him and presented a complete challan in the court while the accused has submitted the bail application.
During the hearing, the customs legal adviser Muhammad Amin Faroz informed the court that Rs 7.9 million recovery is still remaining on the part of the accused while the accused has been involved in evasion of customs duty since 2012. After listening the arguments, the court rejected the bail application of Hammad Akbar Khan.
