LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sped up tax collection efforts to meet the revenue target set for the month of April and for current fiscal year 2015-16.
Sources told Customs Today that Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office (RTO-II) Khawaja Adnan Zaheer presided over different meetings with all commissioners of zone six to eleven in this regard.
During the meetings, the chief commissioner ordered all commissioners to use all resources for tax collections under the head of income and sales taxes to meet the revenue target.
It is necessary to mention here that the FBR has assigned Rs 7.1 billion target for the month of April to the RTO-II.
