MULTAN: The Collector Customs Adjudication team will hear 11 various seizure cases worth Rs276.645million on 3rd of April (Today).
Collector Customs Adjudication Asif Abbas Khan will execute the hearing of 11 various seizure cases of Multan and Faisalabad Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization and Customs Intelligence. These seizure cases include few important cases including M/s Digicom Trading Company in which Multan Customs seized a huge quantity of branded cell phones in their action and formed a seizure report against said company for tax evasion.
The Customs Adjudication will hear the seizure case of Ahsan Traders which was made by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation after intercepting a huge quantity of foreign origin cloth valued at Rs4.34million. The Collector Adjudication will also hear cases of M/s Niagara Mills worth Rs20.31million registered by the MCC Bonds Faisalabad.
The seizure case of M/s Gas and Oil Pakistan valued at Rs57.53million lodged by the MCC Bonds Faisalabad will be proceeded by the Collector Customs Adjudication. The Collector will resume proceedings of two various seizure cases against M/s Zahidjee Textile worth Rs15.164million for misuse of Polyester Diner Yarn and Rs26.4million of Polyester Staple Fiber. Both cases were registered by the MCC Bonds Faisalabad after finding irregularities in their records.
The Customs Adjudication will also hear seizure case of M/s Challenge Apparels valued at Rs60.69million against the misuse of 100 % Polyester Fabrics and it was detected after an audit of the MCC Bonds. M/s Abdur Rehman Corporation worth Rs9.65million against the duty tax evasion on the import of plant machinery, dyed and chemicals will be heard on Tuesday. Seizure cases against M/s Image Garments valued at Rs23.51million for the duty tax evasion of Polyester Mash, Fleece, thread and woven fabrics will also hear today. Collector Customs Adjudication will also hear seizure case against M/s Zahidjee Textile worth Rs7.8million today for the misuse of Polyester Staple Fibre.
