LAHORE: Collectortate of Customs Appeals has decided 57 cases in favour of private parties while 184 cases were decided in Customs Department’s favour during the financial year 2015-16.
The collectorate decided 184 cases worth Rs 82.57 million in revenue in department’s favour and 57 cases worth Rs 20.56 million in favour of private parties.
According to details, the collectorate decided 26 cases in July 2015 of which 18 cases were decided in favour of the department and eight in favour of private parties while the collectorate decided 11 cases during August 2015 and all were decided in favour of the customs department.
The collectorate decided 26 cases in Septembers 19 cass were decided in favour of department while 7 in favour of the private parties.
Similarly the collectoarte decided total 22 cases of which 15 were decided in favour of department while 7 in favour of private parties during October the collectorate decided 30 cases in November of which 21 were decided in favour of department and 9 in favour of private parties.
On the same way 9 cases were decided in December of which 7 were decided in favour of department while two in favour of private parties.
The collectorate decided 23 cases in January, 16 in favour of department and 7 in favour of the private parties while during the month of February the collectorate decided 17 cases, 13 in favour of department while 3 in private parties favour.
Likewise, the collectorate decided 24 cases in March, 20 in favour department and 4 in favour of private parties.
Similarly the collectorate decided 53 cases during April, May and June, 44 in favour of department and 8 in favour of private parties.
