KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 34 points or 0.10 percent to reach 34482.00 points and volume of 328,190,870 shares on Wednesday.
In midday trading, KSE regained overnight losses as 100-index added 82.45 points to take the tally at 34598.75 points level.
On Tuesday, the KSE benchmark 100-index lost 193.99 points or 0.56 percent to reach 34516.30 points and volume of 337,864,450 shares.
Total volume traded in the market was 328,190,870 shares with 380 total traded companies out of which 179 were up 175 were down and 26 were unchanged.
Power Generation & Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 168,387,000 shares. It was followed by Inv Banks Securities cos with a total traded volume of 52,525,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 143,972,500 and price per share of 8.81 (0.24), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 36,384,500 of price per share of 24.03 (0.22), Dewan Cement with a volume 31,689,000 of price per share of 11.25 (0.26).
The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize with price per share 10490.00 (473.00), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 899.95 (23.27) and Packages Ltd. share of 620.92 (7.67).
The top three decliners were Murree Brewery with price per share of 995.90 (-48.22), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1605.00 (-44.00) and Siemens Pak. per share of 1184.82 (-34.55).
High and low were 34631.17 and 34429.08 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 328,190,870 shares.
