KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 137.96 points or 0.38 percent to reach 36084.67 points and volume of 119,869,840 shares on Monday.
In midday trading session, KSE remained in bearish note as 100-index lost 56.33 points to reach 36166.30 points level.
Earlier, the KSE started week with negative note as KSE-100 index lost 60.75 points to drop to 36161.88 points level in early trading on Monday.
On Friday, the stock market closed at 36,222.63 points, adding 481.11 points or 1.34% as compared to the previous week’s closing at 35,741.52 points. Volumes declined by 27% Week on Week (WoW). During the week, a net foreign inflow of $4 million was witnessed, which follows a net out-flow of $20.92 million seen in the previous month.
High and low were 36332.67 and 36037.08 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 119,869,840 shares.
