ISLAMABAD: A six-member delegation of General Administration Customs from China visited the museum of Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation. The Chinese delegation was headed by Zhao Ge.
On the arrival, the delegation was received by Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Imtiaz Ahmad Khan, Director Headquarters Mohammad Saleem and Deputy Director Khuldunul Haq. The Chinese delegation was briefed by operational strategy of Customs Intelligence to curb smuggling. Customs officials also informed the delegation about available resources and overall performance of the directorate. Chinese delegation hailed the performance of the Customs Intelligence.
DG Imtiaz Ahmad Khan told the delegation that Customs Intelligence using all resources to foil attempts of smuggling and recovered huge quantity of drugs during various crackdowns. The Chinese delegation expressed the hope that both brotherly countries will adopt a joint strategy to control smuggling across the border.
During their visit to museum Chinese delegation expressed keen interest in different samples of seized arms and ammunition, and narcotics. They also hailed the establishment of Customs museum.
