KARACHI: Sindh Board of Revenue (BoR) Chairman Rizwan Memon called on Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at Chief Minister’s House to brief him on the computerization of land record.
According to details, the chiarman briefed the Sindh chief minister on the progress of computerization of record and issues being faced by the officials during the execution of their work.
The Chairman BoR Sindh Rizwan Memon said that acres of land record of Sindh province has already been destroyed in fire incident, few years ago in the office of land department.
The Chairman BoR Rizwan Memon further said that the acres of land in interior Sindh are also encroached by the land grabbers, which would be retrieved soon.
The Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah assured the Chairman BoR that the Sindh government will provide each and every assistance to the authorities concerned of BoR in order to retrieve the government land from the land grabbers.
The Chairman-BoR further apprised the chief minister that 80 percent work regarding the computerization of land record in Sindh has been completed adding that the entire process would be completed by the end of this current year.
The Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ai Shah expressed satisfaction over the progress being continued by the authorities concerned of BoR adding that the authorities should continue their working with the same pace so that the entire record would be computerized soon.
