ISLAMABAD: Zulqarnain Tirmizi, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, is going to retire from the government service on attaining the age of superannuation.
Tirmizi, presently posted as Chief Commissioner-IR, Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore, will stand retired from the government service with effect from December 24, 2017.
He assumed the charge as Chief Commissioner-IR, LTU, Lahore on March 1 after relinquishing the charge of the post of Chief Commissioner-IR, RTO, Multan on the same date.
The officer, as BS-20 officer, took the charge of as Chief Commissioner-IR (OPS), Regional Tax Office, Multan on October 17, 2016. He relinquished the charge of the post of Commissioner-IR (Zone-I), Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore on the same date.
Zulqarnain Tirmizi started working as Commissioner-IR, (Zone-I) Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore with effect from August 21, 2015. He also gave his services as Commissioner-IR (Appeals-I), Lahore from March 11, 2013 till the assumption of new charge.
